Tiered Digital Reference

Academic Business libraries typically make scores of digital resources available to students and faculty. The interfaces to these resources range from the easy to use to the nearly opaque. Business librarians respond to the need for database instruction in two ways: Personal instruction, including tutorials, formal classes, phone, IM, and e-mail and Virtual instruction including FAQs, Guides, and Blogs. Personal instruction is not always available. In response we have created a virtual reference system using a linked combination of instruction/finding aids which includes three levels (or tiers) of assistance.

I love this conference and have been coming for years. Being a Librarian allows me to learn new things everyday and help researchers in discovering the data resources they require.I love bike riding, my family (which now includes two little grandsons), my cat and GARDENING!!!!
